Ramsey Bethann Carpenter (born December 1991) is an American beauty pageant titleholder from Hartford, Kentucky who was named Miss Kentucky 2014 on July 12, 2014. Carpenter is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Education/Learning Behavior Disorder.〔 An accomplished Bluegrass fiddle player,〔 Carpenter is a veteran of musical competitions at numerous festivals and other venues while in high school and college.〔 Known as "the girl with the green fiddle", she began playing the instrument at age 15.〔〔
